Oluwatobi: A Beacon of Hope in Mental Health Care
Oluwatobi, a highly skilled ANCC Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, brings a profound dedication to the field of mental health to the JTG Inc. team. With over 7 years of comprehensive experience in various clinical settings, Oluwatobi has developed a compassionate, holistic, and evidence-based approach to care.
Her career began in emergency care, where she honed her critical thinking skills and developed an acute ability to assess complex situations quickly. This background enables her to rule out potential medical conditions that might mimic or exacerbate mental health symptoms, ensuring accurate diagnoses.
Currently, as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at ETW Therapeutic & Holistic Services, she conducts live and virtual psychiatric evaluations, provides behavioral and talk therapy, and collaborates with healthcare professionals on patient care. Prior to this role, she served as a Psychiatric RN at Discovery Mood and Anxiety Behavioral Health, where she managed patient medication, conducted group therapy, and developed individualized care plans. Her journey also includes significant experience as an Emergency Room Nurse at both the Department of Veterans Affairs and Holy Cross Hospital, where she managed a wide range of acute medical conditions and trauma cases.
Oluwatobi’s approach to mental health care is characterized by her empathetic nature and exceptional ability to build therapeutic relationships with patients. She specializes in managing conditions such as anxiety, ADHD, depression, and PTSD, employing a blend of therapeutic interventions, medication management, and patient education to create tailored treatment plans.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bowie State University and a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from Walden University. Her ongoing commitment to professional growth is demonstrated through her active involvement in the American Nurses Association and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.
At JTG Inc., we are privileged to have Oluwatobi join our team. Her extensive experience, compassion, and dedication align perfectly with our mission to provide exceptional mental health services, and we are confident that her contributions will significantly enhance the lives of those we serve.
